Noice that you need to keep in mind that the United States liquid gallon is different from the United States dry gallon or the Imperial gallon.

How To Convert Quarts To Gallons
The truth is that it is very easy to convert quarts to gallons. After all, you just need to keep in mind the conversion ratio between the two measurement units.

Or

So, since we already explained to you how to convert quarts to gallons, sometimes, you may want or need to make the opposite conversion. So, when you have the amount in gallons and you want to calculate the number of quarts, then you will need to use the following conversion ratio:
1 Gallon = 4 Quarts
So, let’s say that you want to convert 6 gallons into quarts. In this case:
1 Gallon = 4 Quarts
So,
6 Gallons = 6 X 4 Quarts
6 Gallons = 24 Quarts.
